Eye of the Storm

Original abstract painting on stretched canvas measuring 40 x 40 cm.

Being from Denmark myself, I feel very connected to the ocean and made this painting with the idea of surfing on the roaring sea.

The crashing wave is an explotion of life in a wide range of colours and movement. Just like the ocean is!

I used gold foil flake embellishments which makes a very interesting addition to the surface structure and which captivates the feeling of sunlight reflecting off of the water.
